inspection utilises x-rays to produce an image of a casting, or part
of a casting on a film, showing the thickness variations of the casting
and subsequently any internal discontinuities such as porosity, inclusions
and shrinkage. |
| Maycast-Nokes NADCAP approved radiographic facility incorporates two X-Ray cells, one housing
a 320 Kv x-ray unit, and the other housing a 200 Kv X-Ray unit, this,
combined with fully automatic film processing, computer generated
radiographic techniques and subsequent interpretation of radiographs,
fully reported, by experienced and fully qualified technicians, enables
complete control over the customers radiographic requirements. |

emphasis is placed upon continuing professional development of all
technicians, who hold as a minimum, SNT and PCN approvals. |
| Maycast-Nokes NADCAP approved radiographic and liquid penetrant inspection facilities are available for independant sub-contract work. |
