Machine Shop 1

In Machine Shop 1 there are seven Maho CNC universal milling machines, two CNC lathes and one Haas 5-axis machining centre.

All of these are data linked to a completely independent/remote programming facility.

This means that programs can be written and transferred to the machine when it is being set, hence reducing the downtime which ultimately reflects favourably on lead-times.

The majority of these machines have the capability to machine in both the horizontal and vertical planes. This makes them ideal for machining castings and reduces the number of operations required which helps to keep the fixture costs and setting times down to a minimum.
